He has long been engaged in the teaching and research of mechatronics and digital control. He has expertise in digital measurement and control, laser processing and so on. He has made great achievements in open CNC, laser processing, medical equipment, shield posture surveying, and automatic guide. He has presided over more than 10 major projects including 973 project and 863 project. He has published more than 70 papers on academic journals both at home and abroad. He has participated in writting a teaching textbook and supervised several master students and Ph. D students.
