Graduted from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and obtain a doctor’s degree in mechanical and electrical engineering in 2002.Promotion to associate professor in 2003 , to be professor in 2005,to be recruited as Ph.D. Supervisor in 2007 and to be Huazhong Distinguished Professor in 2011.

Currently serves as vice president of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Deputy Director of National Engineering Research Center of digital manufacturing equipment,Executive Vice President of DG -HUSTManufacturing Engineering Institute,Director of Guangdong Key Laboratory of digital equipment manufacturing .
