On November 15, Prof. Wang Gaofeng from University of Simon Fraser of Canada visited MSE for academic exchange at the invitation of Prof. Gao Liang.
Gaofeng Wang is a professor of the Product Design and Optimization Lab (PDOL) and the Fellow of ASME. He delivered a lecture entitled “Mysterious High-dimensional Space and Its Optimization Strategy”.
Professor Wang introduced some little-known and counter-intuitive features in the high-dimensional variable space, and proposed unique solutions.
Professor Wang shared his understanding and insights on intelligent optimization technology, and introduced his current research status and research plans in future.
