In August, 2019, International Journal of Intelligent Robotics and Applications (IJIRA) was collected by Scopus Database, which was another good news after the journal was collected by ESCI in August, 2018. The collection of the journal by Scopus indicated the recognition of its academic quality and development potential by international press and academic field, enhancing the journal’s influence in the world.
Introduction of the Journal
Being published every three months, IJIRA was an international English Journal first published in February, 2017 by Springer Nature. The journal aimed to promote outstanding scientific outcomes in intelligent robots and discuss their application, thus help human beings deal with challenges in areas like energy, traffic, population aging, health care, environment and security.
The journal mainly publish peer-viewed original research papers, briefings and reviews of high-quality, covering various topics in robotics, such as basic theories and technological progresses, and achievements of applications in manufacturing, spacecrafts, biomedicine, automobiles, data storage devices, health care, household appliances and intelligent highways.
Introduction of Editor-in-Chief
Kok-Meng Lee. Professor Lee received Ph.D degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the winner of Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), IEEE Fellow, ASME Fellow, editor-in-chief of IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics（TMech）(2008-2013) , tenure professor of Georgia Institute of Technology, professor of HUST. His main research areas include intelligent manufacturing equipment and technology, intelligent sensing and driving, and complex mechanical and electrical systems. He has presided over more than 10 projects closely related to intelligent manufacturing. He has published more than 300 papers, participated in the publication of three English monographs, and has been authorized 10 the United States and international patents.
