AI WU received the B.S. and M. Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST), Wuhan, China in 1979 and 1989, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and information engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kowloon, Hong Kong, in 2001. He was an associate professor and a professor in May 2001 and Dec. 2004, respectively, at Center for Numerical Control Engineering, School of Mechanical Sci. & Engr. of HUST.
He also was a invited reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and learning System and Proceedings of the CSEE.
