Professor Chen was born in Jiangyan, Jiangsu Province in April 1963. He got doctor’s degree in Japan. Currently, he is the deputy director of State Key Lab of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology, HUST.He has published more than 200 papers on journals both at home and abroad, 140 of which were collected by SCI and EI. He has published 2 monographs and has held 70 patents. He has won one second prize of National Technology Invention Award, two first prizes of Natural Science Award of Hubei Province and was nominated for National Book Award once.
