Graduated from School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin University of Science and Technology in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, receiving Master’ degree of Engineering and working on Electron Beam Welding of Thick Section Titanium Alloy at the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Welding and Joining in Harbin Institute of Technology. From 2011 to 2016, receiving Ph. D degree and working on High Power Fiber Laser Welding of Ultra-High Strength Steels at Laser Processing Research Centre in The University of Manchester. From 2015 to 2018, working as Postdoc Research Associate in The University of Manchester and The University of Sheffield. From 2018 to 2022, working as Senior Project Leader/Materials Engineer at The Welding Institute (TWI) and UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). In April 2022, joining School of Mechanical Science and Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
