Prof. Wan is a doctoral supervisor of HUST, senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, reviewer of State Science and Technology Award, reviewer of Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Education, member of SAC/TC159/SC4, deputy director of the International Standards Research Center for Manufacturing Technology of the Ministry of Education, deputy head of Hubei Province Manufacturing Industry Expert Group.

Professor Wan Li is the academic leader in the field of collaborative design, digital design and manufacturing, as well as informationization of manufacturing industry  of the CAD Center of MSE, HUST with rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience, as well as high professional academic level. He is familiar with research and technology trends of his research field and has long been engaged in teaching and research. He has presided over a series of national science and technology projects, 863 projects, national science and technologysupporting plan projects, and national electronic information industry development fund projects. He has published more than 50 papers.
