Qin Zhang is now an Associate Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She obtained her PhD degree from Montpellier University II in France in 2011. After that, she continued her research work at French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA) as a Post-doc fellow. From May 2013, she worked as a JSPS Fellow funded by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Since January 2013, she has worked in the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Her research interests include biomechatronics, machine learning, rehabilitation robot and neurorehabilitation technology. She is a member of IEEE EMBS and RAS, and also contributes as a reviewer of several influential journals and academic conferences, such as IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, ICRA and IROS.
