Zhang Xiaojian, born in 1982, is currently a professor at the State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He received his BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, China, in 2004 and 2007 respectively. From December 2012 to May 2016, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. His research interests include machining dynamics and machining process optimization.
