Yunqing Zhang, is a professor of School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. He received M.S. degrees in Engineering Mechanics in 1992 from Jilin University (Former JUT), Changchun, Jilin, China, and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011, from HUST, respectively. From 1992 to 2001, he worked as vehicle dynamics engineer and senior engineer for Dong Feng Automobile Engineering Research Institute, Shiyan,Hubei,China. In 2001, he joined Huazhong University of Science and Technology as associate professor, in 2011, he became a full professor at HUST. His research interests are focused on Mechanical Design and Theory, Vehicle System Dynamics and Control, Multibody System Dynamics, Uncertainty Analysis and Robust Design.

Professional Experience

Prof. Zhang was an engineer and then a senior engineer at Dongfeng Automobile Engineering Research Institute in Shiyan, Hubei from May 1992 to May 2001. He was an associate professor and then a professor in School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China from June 2001 to now. Prof. Zhang’s research interests and teaching activities include Mechanical Design and Theory and Automotive Engineering.
