Professor Hu Youmin and Dr. Zheng Kunming of MSE attended the 2017 International Conference on Mechanical, System and Control Engineering (ICMSC 2017) ,which was held in St.Petersburg, Russia, from May 19, 2017 to May 21, 2017. Professor Hu Youmin delivered a special report entitled "A Remote Health Condition Monitoring System Based on Compressed Sensing" and Dr. Zheng Kunming delivered a special report entitled "The Intelligent Trajectory Planning Control of the Crane "
The objectives of the conference are to provide high quality research and professional interactions for the advancement of science, technology, and fellowship in the field of mechanical, system and control engineering. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. The theme of the conference covered the latest developments in the field of mechanical, system and control engineering. Besides the special report, Professor Hu Youmin and Dr. Zheng Kunming exchanged views with the delegates in the field of mechanical system control on the conference. They gained further insights into the development of remote monitoring system and robot intelligent control abroad and offered constructive suggestions on the development trend of mechanical system control.
This conference included oral presentations, posters and technical meetings related to the topics. The renowned keynote speaker Professor Polyakova Marina of Magnitogorsk State Technical University, Russia, delivered a special report entitled " Integrated Methodology for Standard-Setting Norms of Innovative Product in the New Competitive Environment ". Professor Kwang-Yong Kim of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Inha University, Incheon, Korea, delivered a special report entitled "Multi-Objective Optimization of an Axial Compressor with Air Injection at Stator Shroud", and Professor Nikos A. Aspragathos of Robotics Group in Mechanical and Aeronautics Engineering Department, University of Patras, Greece, delivered a special report entitled "Safe and High Performance Human-Robot Co-manipulation". Their reports broadened our horizons and made us understand the research hotspots in the filed of mechanical, system and control engineering. Papers with innovative research results were encouraged for submission.
This project was funded by International Cooperation Promotion Plan of MSE.
