Guo Lie, who graduated from the Department of Industrial Design, MSE in 2007, was listed in the category of consumer technology with his team’s second venture Faceu which took the first place in App Store Top Charts once again. This is the second time for MSE alumni got onto Forbes’s 30 Under 30. Zhou Wei, who got his bachelor ’s degree in 2008 and master’s degree in 2011 from MSE, HUST, was listed on Forbes China’s 30 Under 30 and was the cover figure in 2015.
Faceu is an augmented reality video chatting app with the most advanced facial recognition technology and can locate facial features accurately, thus allows the precise “painting” of “cross dressing” on face.
