Dr. Mi Xiao, Lecturer from School of Mechanical Science & Engineering (MSE) of HUST, attended the 2015 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences & Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (IDETC/CIE 2015) from August 2 to August 5 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He also made a special report named “Metamodel Uncertainty Quantification by Using Bayes’ Theorem”.
The IDETC/CIE 2015 is organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and consists of the following sub-conferences: 17th International Conference on Advanced Vehicle Technologies, 35th Computers and Information in Engineering Conference, 41st Design Automation Conference, 12th International Conference on Design Education, 20th Design for Manufacturing and the Life Cycle Conference, 27th International Conference on Design Theory and Methodology, 2015 ASME/IEEE International Conference on Mechatronic and Embedded Systems and Applications, 39th Mechanisms and Robotics Conference, 9th International Conference on Micro- and Nanosystems, 11th International Conference on Multibody Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics, and Control, ASME 2015 Power Transmission and Gearing Conference, 23rd Reliability, Stress Analysis, and Failure Prevention Conference, 27th Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise, and 8th Frontiers in Biomedical Devices. Meanwhile, the ASME 2015 Additive Manufacturing + 3D Printing Conference (AM3D) was hold in conjunction with the IDETC/CIE 2015. This conference includes a total of more than 1,000 papers. It hold many open special reports, seminars in related field, and nearly 300 sub-venues of symposia, attracting experts, academics and industry leaders throughout the world to attend.
