MSE won 1 Gold and 1 Silver at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions

The 43th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions was held in Geneva, Switzerland from April 15th to 19th. MSE won 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal at the exhibition.

The gold awards is “High-precision and Broadband-spectrum Mueller Matrix Ellipsometer and Nanostructure Morphology Nondestructive Measurement Method” by Prof. Liu Shiyuan. “Great-depth Ultra-high Pressure Sea Water Pump with A Submersible Vehicle” by Prof. Liu Yinshui won the silver awards. 

It was reported that started in 1973, the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions was an annual large-scale international exhibition sponsored by the Swiss federal government and the Geneva municipal government, as well as one of the largest and most influential exhibitions of inventions in the world. 752 exhibitors and individuals from 48 countries attended the exhibition and exhibited about 1000 new inventions. And the exhibition received around 60,000 visitors. HUST joined in the exhibition of international applied science and technology development and collaboration network team, which was organized by Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Other members of the team include Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Northeastern University, and Harbin Institute of Technology.
