Prof. Peigen Li and Prof. Liang Gao, who were invited by Prof. Fortino of the University of Calabria, attended the 2015 19th IEEE International Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work in Design from May 6 to May 8, which was held in Calabria city, Italy. During the conference, they made the presentations namely “Cuckoo Search-based Range Image Registration for Freeform Surface Inspection” and “Optimal Design of Photovoltaic-Wind Hybrid Renewable Energy System using a Discrete Geometric Selective Harmony Search”, respectively.
The 2015 19th IEEE International Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work in Design (CSCWD 2015) provides a forum for researchers and practitioners involved in different but related domains to confront research results and discuss key problems. The scope of CSCWD 2015 includes the research and development fields of collaboration technologies and their applications to the design of processes, products, systems, and services in industries and societies. CSCWD 2015 conference attracted many specialists from different application domains, including aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, power and energy, healthcare, infrastructure etc. Specialists from different countries and districts shared their research results and discuss the current research trend in the field of cooperative work.
