1. About the Forum

The East Lake International Forum for Outstanding Overseas Young Scholars(East Lake Forum) was founded in 2012 and has invited about 1000 scholars from over 30 countries and regions to attend.The forum covers a wide range of disciplines including mathematics, physics, chemistry, environment and earth science, information science, engineering science, material science, bioscience, humanities, medicine and social sciences.The Forum aims at gathering outstanding young scientists and technologists all over the world to interact and discuss emerging frontiers in science and technology.Through presentations and discussions, the forum will foster cross-disciplinary exchange and cooperation among the meeting participants in emerging scientific and technological fieldsand contribute to sustainable development.

2. Requirements for applicants

Under 40 years old as of December 31, 2017
Holding a doctoral degree with at least 3-year overseas working experience
Having shown innovation and potentials in your area of focus (science, engineering, economics, management, humanities and social sciences etc.)
