Oct 23-29, 2017, Professor Liu Yinshui and Lecturer Gao Longlong along with 5 postgraduate students from MSE visited Fukuoka, Japan to attend the 10thJapan Fluid Power System Society(JFPS) International Symposium, where Professor Liu was invited as the Chairman of parallel session on hydraulic control valve. Dr. Gao gave a presentation on Modeling and Analysis of High-pressure and Large Flow Rate Pneumatic Proportional Valve, the postgraduate students also presented their research achievements in forms of speeches and posts.
At the symposium, Prof. Liu and Dr. Gao exchanged in-depth with international experts into the subject of water hydraulic technology and high-pressure pneumatic control and discussed together about the trend of this research area. Besides, Prof. Liu briefly introduced 2019 International Conference on Fluid Power and Mechatronics under preparation by HUST.
Many worldwide famous experts on fluid power gathered in the event from universities such as RWTH Aachen, Tampere University of Technology, and University of Minnesota. The topics discussed were covering from energy-saving, hydraulic and pneumatic components, functional fluid, robotics, control and measurement to sealing technology.
The International Symposium on Fluid Power is hold by Japan Fluid Power System Society every three years and is one of the most important international conference in the field of fluid dynamics. This symposium devotes to boosting the mutual exchanges, cooperation, and development of fluid dynamics by providing with a top class international platform.
