On Nov. 26th-Dec. 1st, 2017,Prof. Wu Zhigang from State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology of MSE attended the 2017 Material Research Society (MRS) Fall Meeting held by MRS in Boston, Massachusetts.
The meeting features 54 topical symposia in Biomaterials and Soft Materials, Electronics, Magnetics and Photonics, Energy and Sustainability, Nanomaterials, Processing and Manufacturing, Theory, Characterization and Modeling, etc. As many as 6,000 researchers have participated in it. At the symposium, Prof. Wu made a presentation entitled “Efficient Patterning of Liquid Alloy with Soluble Mask for Stretchable Electronics”, which has attracted considerable attention.
Prof. Wu also listened to many research reports by experts from various fields and has gained a deeper understanding of the current research and prospects of Bionic Materials, Soft Materials, Wearable Electronics, Electronic Tattoos technology, etc. from his exchange with them, including Associate Prof. Michael Dickey (North Carolina State University, NCSU), Associate Prof. Lu Nanshu (University of Texas at Austin, UT Austin), Associate Prof. Zhao Xuanhe (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT), Associate Prof. Dae Hyeong Kim (Seoul National University, SVU).
