On March 28th, Professor Sabine Vercruysse, representative of Engineering Science School of KU Leuven, and Hu Yunhao, who is in charge of international affairs of Technology School, visited HUST, and had a meeting with representatives of HUST. Mr. He Gang, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of HUST chaired the meeting. Prof. Wang Shuting ( Vice Dean of MSE), Ms. Gan Huijie and Ms. Yang Yi from Office of Discipline Construction and Internalization of MSE attended the meeting.
At the meeting, He Gang extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He especially pointed out that MSE was the first School in HUST to complete the tasks regulated by cooperating degrees between the two universities.
Professor Vercruysse and Hu Yunhao explained implementation, course contrast and mutual recognition of credits and courses of the 2+2 program. Wang Shuting explained mutual recognition of credits of MSE, and discussed with the Leuven delegation some detailed issues.
KU Leuven is the most famous university in Belgium which ranks top 50 among all universities of the world. It has the longest history in Europe and is honoured by many people. It is also one of the top research universities in the world.
