On December 20th, Mr. Liang Liqiang, Manager Director of Beckhoff China, Director General of China Science & Technology Automation Alliance (CSAA), visited MSE and presented at the Launching Ceremony of Beckhoff & MSE Joint Laboratory. Prof. Wang Shuting, Vice Dean of MSE, attended the ceremony.
At the meeting, Prof. Wang Shuting made an introduction about general situation of MSE and its achievements in the past years. Wang affirmed that the joint laboratory would help with a deeper cooperation between MSE and Beckhoff, which was of great significance to the Emerging Engineering Education. Prof. Wang invited Beckhoff to participate in the Emerging Engineering Education construction and its related programs, carrying out international advanced engineering ideas and technologies into the study and practice of students, and thus joining in the cultivation of personalized mechanical talents.
Mr. Liang Liqiang introduced Beckhoff and its business in China. He said that Beckhoff would continuously provide with the latest automation equipment and technology for the joint lab, participating actively into the experimental platform construction and teaching of the Emerging Engineering Education. As Beckhoff was developing, it would also help to improve the lab with the latest equipment.
At the meeting, the two sides had a better understanding about each other by a series of mutual introduction.
On the afternoon of 20th, the joint lab had a control technology training based on PC and a communication activity.
Academician Ding Han, Dean of MSE, met with Mr. Liang and his delegation. They had an in-depth exchange about further cooperation in the construction of emerging engineering education.
Till now, Beckhoff has donated both hardware and software systems like industrial PC, embedded controller, CNC, etc.
