HUST-MSE Held Anti-fraud Safety Seminar for International Students

On the evening of May 23rd, in order to enhance the safety awareness of international students, HUST-MSE held “Anti-fraud Seminar” themed "Protect Yourself, Stay Away from Fraud" in B702, Advanced Manufacturing Building East. This event not only included all HUST-MSE international students, but also attracted international students from other schools such as College of Public Administration, with around 30 participants. The seminar was delivered by Wu Siqi, HUST-MSE International Student Counselor. 

Anti-fraud safety seminar, both online and offline, focused on fraud methods, case analysis, prevention methods, etc., with the aim of giving international students a deeper understanding of fraud behaviors, improving their awareness of fraud risks and self-prevention abilities. 

Students showed great enthusiasm for participation. They listened carefully, actively asked questions, and had lively discussions. After the seminar, they said that they had a deeper understanding of anti-fraud knowledge, and promised to be vigilant at all times in future study and life, pay attention to various forms of fraud prevention, and ensure safety of personal and properties.

The successful holding of this anti-fraud safety seminar not only enhanced the safety awareness of international students, but also provided them with opportunities for learning and communication. HUST-MSE will continue to pay attention to the anti-fraud issues of international students, and provide them with more comprehensive and meticulous services and support.
