MSE won ‘Excellent Organization Award’ & ‘Excellent Guidance Award’ in HUST History & Chinese Culture Knowledge Competition

On the afternoon of May 26th, HUST History & Chinese Culture Knowledge Competition was held in HUST Welcome Center. Around 60 Chinese and foreign students from 15 schools formed 15 teams, and had a fascinating knowledge competition, in which they expressed their deep love for Chinese culture and HUST.MSE actively formed the MSE Star Team with 3 foreign students and 1 Chinese student. In the end, MSE won the ‘Excellent Organization Award’ & ‘Excellent Guidance Award’, showing the MSE STAR Culture of ‘Striving, Teamwork, Agility, Responsibility’!

During preparation stage, they studied and trained very hard, and they also shot and edited team's promotional video with enthusiasm. In the competition, MSE Star Team cooperated nicely and bravely to fight against other strong players.

After the competition, Muhammad Rashid (an English-taught doctoral international student of 2021) from Pakistan said that the competition provided him with a chance to get to know more Chinese and foreign friends, and to enjoy the friendly atmosphere in China. Chanthorn Raksmey (a Chinese-taught undergraduate international student of 2019) from Cambodia said that the competition allowed him to further express his love for Chinese culture and HUST. Rosendo Castellon Toichoa (a Chinese-taught undergraduate international student of 2020) from Equatorial Guinea said that the competition expanded his knowledge of Chinese culture, and he would dig at it in the future!

HUST History & Chinese Culture Knowledge Competition, as an important cultural platform for international students to further understand HUST history and appreciate the charm of Chinese culture, has created more opportunities for the exchange and integration of Chinese and foreign youth in HUST, and has greatly contributed to the healthy development of international education in HUST and MSE!
