From December 1st to 6th, the 2024 Materials Research Society Fall Meeting (abbreviated as 2024 MRS Fall Meeting) was held in Boston, United States. The conference is a leading international scientific meeting for materials research and interdisciplinary fields, with over 4,000 in-person attendees this year. The conference received nearly 1,800 poster submissions from 58 countries and regions, ultimately resulting in 10 subject areas and 20 best poster awards.
The poster titled "In Situ Soft Plant Wearable System for Long-term and Quantitative Monitoring of Live Plant Stresses" by the team of Academician Ding Han and Professor Wu Zhigang from MSE won the Best Poster Award - First Place in the Frontiers of Biohybrid Devices symposium. The co-authors of the poster include Ph.D. student Jiang Ping, and Master's students Zhao Xin, Zhao Tiyong, and Dong Xingxing from MSE.
