I had the opportunity to attend the "HUST Chinese Language + AI Robot Summer School" at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) this summer, and I would like to describe the first two weeks on campus.
Firstly, this program interested me because I am passionate about robotics and AI advancements. Additionally, China was a very mysterious country to me as I had never left France before, so this was a completely new experience.
When I first arrived in Wuhan, several students from HUST guided us and were very kind and helpful. During the first week, as the program started, I became more comfortable on the campus. I learned how to borrow bikes to explore HUST, took pictures of the beautiful lake within the campus, and ate at some excellent restaurants. It was a great discovery!
Outside the campus, I walked around Wuhan and discovered many things such as a big mall: "Wuhan Plaza Shopping Center." I also visited the Yellow Crane Tower with friends, which is an important monument in Wuhan.
When the summer program started, we had theoretical classes in the morning, and on some days, we visited various enterprises and museums. This allowed me to learn a lot about Chinese culture. It has been a great experience!
